Description
Hydraulic lifting platforms (scissor lift tables) have become a standard solution in modern material handling and lifting applications due to their efficiency, reliability, and versatility. Compared with mobile lifting equipment, vehicle-mounted lifts, and many other crane systems, hydraulic scissor lift tables require significantly lower capital investment while providing comparable lifting performance across a wide range of industrial applications. Gidrolast offers hydraulic lifting platforms with load capacities ranging from 300 kg to 15 tonnes. Such capacities often exceed the capabilities of conventional freight elevators and many other stationary lifting systems. The maximum lifting height is up to 8 metres. All lifting platforms are custom-engineered and manufactured according to the Customer’s technical specifications and operational requirements.
Application
The self-propelled lifting platform is specialized equipment designed for the assembly, disassembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of railway vehicle bogies, chassis assemblies, and related components during manufacturing, overhaul, and service operations. This type of lifting platform fully meets the operational requirements for railway chassis assembly and maintenance procedures while providing a high load capacity and exceptional positioning accuracy. The system incorporates an electro-hydraulic lifting structure and working platform, providing smooth stepless lifting control and self-propelled mobility. The drive wheels are hydraulically powered and feature synchronized 90° steering capability, enabling continuous longitudinal and transverse movement during operation. The platform can travel in both longitudinal and lateral directions, rotate as required, and maneuver clockwise or counterclockwise to facilitate precise positioning beneath railway vehicles. Power supply options include both AC and DC configurations, while wheel assemblies can be configured for either road-surface operation or rail-guided applications, ensuring maximum operational flexibility.
Design and operating principle
The railway chassis assembly and maintenance platform consists primarily of an electro-hydraulic lifting frame and a heavy-duty working platform. High-performance hydraulic and drive systems ensure smooth, stable, and reliable operation of both lifting and travel functions. The platform is driven by an electric motor with stepless speed control, allowing precise movement and positioning during assembly and maintenance operations. When the lifting platform is aligned with the railway vehicle chassis, the working platform can be precisely adjusted along both the X-axis and Y-axis, providing forward, backward, left, and right positioning capabilities. This allows accurate alignment of tooling, components, and mounting interfaces during installation and removal procedures.
